From Kandahar to Orlando
Ariana Kabab brings the bold, traditional flavors of Afghanistan to Orlando. We are a counter-service kitchen, so lunch is quick and dinner is relaxed, and nothing is shortcut on the way to your plate.
Every dish is prepared in-house from fresh ingredients: meat marinated overnight and grilled to order on the skewer, basmati steamed the slow way, warm naan on every plate, and a pot of cardamom chai waiting at the end. These are the recipes our family has cooked for generations, served the way they are served at home, in generous portions meant to be shared.
We are the only Afghan restaurant in Orlando, and one of a handful in the city serving halal with Zabiha options. Whether you grew up on this food or are tasting it for the first time, you are welcome at our table.

Our chicken, beef and lamb are sourced from trusted halal suppliers. Nothing on the menu contains pork or alcohol, and our marinades, sauces and desserts are made in our own kitchen so you know what is in them.
Afghan Kabab (Kabob), the Way It Is Meant to Be
Kabab is the heart of Afghan cooking and the heart of our menu. Three things make ours worth the trip.
The Marinade
Chicken, beef and lamb rest overnight in yogurt, garlic, and the spice blends our family has used for generations. Nothing is grilled the day it is seasoned.
The Fire
Every skewer is grilled to order over open flame. Tikka is charred at the edges and tender inside. Kofta and chapli are seared until the crust snaps.
The Plate
Every kabab plate comes with fragrant basmati rice and fresh salad, with warm naan to wrap it all. Add a chai and you have eaten like an Afghan family.

Is Ariana Kabab halal?
Yes. All of our meat is halal, with Zabiha (hand-slaughtered) options available. There is no pork or alcohol anywhere on the menu.

We offer Zabiha options. Ask at the counter and we will tell you which items are Zabiha that day.
What is Afghan food like?
Think grilled kababs (kabobs), fragrant basmati rice like Kabuli palaw, fresh naan, dumplings such as mantu, and cardamom chai. It is rich and aromatic rather than hot, with yogurt, herbs and slow-cooked flavor. If you like Persian, Pakistani or Mediterranean food, you will feel right at home.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes. Bolani, souzi (Afghan spinach), hummus, falafel, shour nakhud, the vegetarian platter and the falafel wrap are all vegetarian, along with most sides, teas and desserts. Look for the V mark on the menu.
